LSUA Net Cost Calculator

Introduction

The net price calculator is a tool for students to use to get the estimate of what it may cost to attend Louisiana State University at Alexandria. It is important for you to understand that the information provided is based on broad estimates and averages of what students received during the academic year. These estimates in no way reflect the actual award amounts you will receive. Many factors come into play when financial aid is awarded to students including, but not limited to: deadlines, funding availability, the student’s enrollment, income, and the student's academic performance.

It is also important to note that the net price calculator does not incorporate Federal Stafford Loans into its financial aid calculations. Students who file a FAFSA may be eligible for low interest, deferred loans through the Federal Direct Lending Program. For additional information about student loans go to https://www.lsua.edu/financial-aid/types-of-aid.

LSUA’s net price calculator reflects the projected average cost of attendance for the academic year and financial aid funding levels from the academic year.

By clicking below, you acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price; it is an estimate based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year. The price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the U.S. Secretary of Education, Louisiana State University at Alexandria, or the State of Louisiana. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for Federal student aid, go to https://studentaid.gov/.
